Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The Advanced OB RN will support patients across all age groups, genders, and cultural backgrounds by providing physical and psychosocial care, coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient issues for infants through geriatrics.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions, adjust care plans accordingly, and monitor outcomes.
• Perform thorough assessments using critical thinking to interpret data and respond effectively.
• Communicate vital information to the healthcare team promptly.
• Develop and update individualized nursing care plans daily and as needed.
• Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines, adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Follow physician orders accurately and complete tasks efficiently.
• Prioritize patient care under stress while demonstrating maturity, stability, and flexibility.
• Manage equipment and supplies based on patient needs, ensuring department organization and cleanliness.
• Charge appropriately for supplies and treatments.
• Work scheduled hours with flexibility to cover extra shifts as needed.
• Adapt to assignment changes with minimal disruption, potentially including respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy support.

Education and Certifications:

• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within 1 year (NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced).
• For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is required.
