Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in accordance with medical staff protocols and accepted practice standards.
• Deliver medical services and health education to patients and their families, fostering motivation for personal health responsibility.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpret findings, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Ensure quality patient care while adhering to health, safety, and aseptic practices.
• Recognize and respond to environmental safety factors affecting patient care.
• Provide patient instruction related to care environment and safety standards.
• Support and comply with organizational policies, procedures, goals, and standards.
• Collaborate regularly with care teams and personnel to promote quality care and appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Education and Licensure:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
• Licensed and qualified to practice medicine in the relevant state.
• Federal and state DEA licenses as required.

Experience and Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential job functions including effective communication, visual acuity, and auditory skills.

• Compliance with safety regulations and standards such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA.
