We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Norwalk, Iowa. As an OT, you will help patients regain independence by evaluating their abilities and developing individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living capabilities
• Provide hands-on therapy and assist patients with exercises and adaptive techniques
• Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, safety precautions, and recovery strategies
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with health regulations and patient confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Iowa
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to treat a wide range of conditions and adjust treatment plans accordingly
