Position Overview: This full-time role involves skilled journeyman-level maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems within a healthcare facility. The technician will work from diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications, utilizing hand and power tools along with precision measuring and testing instruments. Responsibilities may extend to electrical equipment maintenance. In the absence of the Facilities Director, this role assumes decision-making duties.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours every two weeks, primarily day shifts.

Education & Training

Post-secondary education or formal technical training is highly preferred. Candidates should have a solid understanding of boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ability to read and interpret manuals, building codes, and regulations is essential.

Experience & Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and insurability under the organization's insurance policy is mandatory.
