Position Overview: This role involves planning, directing, and evaluating nursing care within the obstetrics unit. You will coordinate unit activities, organize and assign tasks to nursing staff, and provide education and monitoring to ensure high-quality patient care. The position also requires stepping in as charge nurse or staff nurse when necessary and managing the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Nursing Services.

Education & Credentials

• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BSN preferred. If not held at hire, proof of enrollment in a BSN program within one year and completion within three years is required.
• Registered Nurse license valid in the relevant U.S. region.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within three months of hire.
• Advanced certifications including ACLS, PALS, and NRP are mandatory.

Experience & Requirements

• Proven leadership skills in nursing coordination and patient care management.
• Ability to work primarily day shifts with availability for night, weekend, and holiday on-call duties.
