Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse will support patients across all age groups, genders, and cultural backgrounds by assessing, planning, and coordinating individualized care plans. Providing both physical and psychosocial support to patients and their families is a key component of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient issues for infants through geriatrics.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions by adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Perform thorough assessments and apply critical thinking to interpret clinical data.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Develop, update, and validate individualized nursing care plans daily and as needed.
• Administer medications following pharmacy guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate execution of physician orders.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently, managing stress with professionalism and flexibility.
• Manage equipment and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized department.
• Accurately charge for supplies and treatments.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working scheduled hours and accepting changes in assignments, which may include respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy support.

Education and Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Registered Nursing degree.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse within the relevant state.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within three months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within one year; NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced roles.
• For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is necessary.
