We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a general surgery setting. Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social conditions accurately.
• Ensure all necessary pre-authorizations and consent forms are obtained before therapies.
• Maintain timely and precise documentation in electronic medical records, including symptom management, lab results, treatment plans, and medication administration records.
• Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses thoroughly.
• Plan and complete work efficiently while ensuring accurate billing.
• Prepare for and assist with office procedures and administer medications as directed.
• Report and document any adverse medication effects and immunizations properly.
• Perform clinical procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, tympanograms, EKGs, and vision screenings.
• Make referrals to other providers and facilities as directed.
• Manage patient communications, including triaging calls and reporting test results promptly.
• Maintain exam rooms, replenish supplies, and ensure cleanliness.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding.
• May float to other departments as needed.
• Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under provider supervision, following correct dosage and technique.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure as an RN or LPN, or certification as a CMA, eligible to work within the Midwest region.
• Two or more years of experience as an RN or LPN preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems; experience with Epic EHR is a plus.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Completion or willingness to complete Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
