Position Overview: This role involves performing specialized life-sustaining procedures within a hospital-based advanced care ambulance service. The nurse provides immediate emergency care and safe transport for critically ill or injured patients under the guidance of a medical control physician.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours per week, typically including one 24-hour shift and one 12-hour shift weekly, with on-call responsibilities during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Certifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Operational level Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) training completed within 1 year of onboarding.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
• Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) 100 and 200 courses within 3 months of employment.
