We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our inpatient services team in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of nursing practice.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to assigned patients with attention to physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments upon admission and establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized interdisciplinary care plans involving patients and their families.
• Utilize available resources effectively and consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Continuously reassess and document patient status and nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans in an understandable manner.
• Organize workload efficiently to provide timely care and maintain clear communication with the healthcare team.
• Adhere to documentation standards and accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform physical demands of the role.

Education

Associate degree or higher in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.

Experience and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in the relevant state within the Midwest region.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) according to American Heart Association standards.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
