We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Massage Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region. This role focuses on enhancing patient well-being through therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized massage therapy aligned with individual care plans.
• Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional health to tailor treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement customized massage therapy plans addressing specific patient needs.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and complementary wellness practices.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any contraindications.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment by following health and sanitation protocols, including equipment sterilization.
• Manage workload efficiently, responding promptly to communications and adapting to a dynamic work environment.

Education and Certification

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Valid and current massage therapy license or certification as per state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a massage therapy setting, preferably within a clinical or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
• Adherence to organizational compliance programs and policies.

This part-time position offers varied days and evenings, averaging 18 hours per week, providing flexibility within a supportive and fast-paced healthcare environment.
