Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse will support patients across all ages and backgrounds, promoting health and providing physical and emotional support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient issues for all age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions, adjust care plans accordingly, and monitor outcomes.
• Perform thorough assessments and apply critical thinking to interpret data and respond effectively.
• Communicate vital information to the healthcare team promptly.
• Develop and update individualized nursing care plans daily and as needed.
• Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines, adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Follow physician orders accurately and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently, working well under stress with maturity and flexibility.
• Manage equipment and supplies based on patient needs, ensuring the department remains organized and well-stocked.
• Charge appropriately for supplies and treatments.
• Work scheduled hours with flexibility to cover extra shifts as needed.
• Adapt to assignment changes with minimal disruption, potentially including respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy duties.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within one year (NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced).
• For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is necessary.
