Join a dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Clinical Laboratory Scientist serving the Midwest region. This role involves performing complex diagnostic testing on various body fluids including blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and more. You will be responsible for evaluating test results, quality controls, calibrations, and ensuring accuracy in all laboratory procedures.

Work Schedule: The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call duties occur at least twice monthly, with a required response time of 20 minutes.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field is required.

Experience and Certification

Certification through ASCP, NCA, AMT, MT (AMT), MT (HEW), CLS, or an equivalent credential is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate the ability and willingness to cover 24-hour staffing needs, including varied shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

Applicants must be able to respond promptly to on-call requests within 20 minutes under all weather conditions. Provisions for overnight accommodations during severe weather may be available when feasible.
