What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using both standardized assessments and clinical observation methods.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, voice, fluency, language, and swallowing disorders across the continuum of care.
• Deliver focused, one-on-one therapy sessions grounded in the latest evidence-based practices.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team — including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and family caregivers — to ensure coordinated, whole-patient care.
• Provide education and coaching to patients and their families to reinforce progress and encourage carryover outside the clinic.
• Contribute to occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to support seamless care transitions.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in alignment with all state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Pursue continuing education and peer mentorship to stay at the forefront of the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still in progress.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
