What You Will Be Doing

• Execute routine and complex laboratory analyses across disciplines including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and urinalysis in accordance with established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for validity, identify discrepancies, troubleshoot instrumentation issues, and perform scheduled calibration and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Support specimen collection workflows and prepare biological samples for downstream testing as required.
• Maintain thorough and accurate procedural documentation, contribute to onboarding and training of new staff or students, and actively uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Sustain a clean, hazard-conscious work environment in full compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and institutional requirements.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health discipline, paired with ASCP or AMT certification eligibility or completion.

Certifications

• ASCP Board of Certification or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science required, with up to one year post-hire to obtain if not already credentialed.
• Active certification must be maintained continuously throughout the duration of employment.
