Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound studies including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts examinations
• Guide patients through each procedure with patience, professionalism, and genuine compassion
• Partner with radiologists and referring providers to ensure diagnostic images meet the highest quality standards
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and report issues with ultrasound equipment in a timely manner
• Accurately document all procedures and update patient records in the electronic health system
• Pursue continuing education and stay informed on emerging sonographic techniques and technology

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or an accepted equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
