Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's or associate degree in medical technology or a related field.
• Certification by ASCP or AMT Board of Registry/Board of Certification is required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical analysis of body fluids (blood, urine, spinal fluid) to detect normal or abnormal components.
• Collect biological specimens from patients.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment for accurate analysis.
• Record and enter data from medical tests or clinical results into the computer for storage and future analysis.
