Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiologic exams, while following established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Operate imaging equipment and perform routine maintenance and quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate image interpretation and diagnosis.
• Maintain thorough patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients about the imaging process and address any questions or concerns they may have.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid Illinois state license.
• Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, safety protocols, and patient care practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on enhancing patient comfort.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
