What You Will Do

In this role, clinical excellence is a way of life. You will work across inpatient or outpatient settings to:

• Evaluate & Plan: Conduct thorough patient evaluations and craft personalized treatment plans tailored to unique recovery needs.
• Implement Care: Lead interventions centered on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional capacity.
• Collaborate: Partner with a multidisciplinary team—including nurses, physicians, and case managers—to ensure a holistic approach to healing.
• Educate: Empower patients and families by teaching them about the therapy process, setting goals, and recommending home exercises.
• Document: Maintain accurate records of progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

To flourish in this role, you should possess:

• Education: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active Illinois state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience: Previous experience is strongly desired, particularly with intricate medical conditions.
• Skills: Proficiency in digital charting, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit.
• Certifications: CPR certification is preferred; specialized expertise (neurological or geriatric) is a plus.
