Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each step with clarity and compassion
• Work together with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and address any malfunctions promptly
• Document procedures accurately, maintaining thorough patient records in our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
