Job Functions

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Engage with surgical teams to evaluate and diagnose conditions based on imaging studies and laboratory findings
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and enact individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance by setting up operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Render exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior clinical rotations emphasizing surgical experiences are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or the ability to obtain) as a Physician Assistant
