We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat movement disorders across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the scope of practice as defined by licensing boards.
• Evaluate patient needs and develop, implement, review, and maintain individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on physical therapy aspects and promote optimal outcomes.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and external agencies.
• Provide clinical oversight to Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security standards regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).

Education and Experience

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a similar clinical environment.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Physical Therapy license through the appropriate state board.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance as required if driving is part of the role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements

This position requires medium work, occasionally exerting up to 50 lbs and frequently up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may be required 26-50% of the workday. Accommodations may be provided as needed.
