We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to design and implement therapy programs aimed at preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and social communication disorders. This role requires adherence to privacy regulations and maintaining professional relationships with patients, families, healthcare teams, and external agencies.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide care within the scope of practice as defined by licensing boards.
• Evaluate patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans for individuals ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
• Educate patients and their families on care aspects.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation following organizational policies.
• Offer clinical oversight to Speech Language Pathology Assistants.

General Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory or management duties.

Education and Experience:

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issue.
• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the appropriate state board.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance if the position requires driving.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar clinical environment is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of speech therapy principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements: Light work involving occasional exertion up to 25 lbs and frequent exertion up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may be required 11-25% of the workday, with or without accommodation.
