Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and collect detailed patient medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic behavioral health conditions.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies within your scope of practice.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory work and imaging studies.
• Educate and counsel patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
• Adhere to all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards governing clinical practice.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• National board certification such as AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
• Active DEA registration if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced clinical training or certification in a relevant specialty area.
• Previous experience in a similar behavioral health role.
• Additional certifications or specialized training in behavioral medicine.

Physical Requirements
