We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to plan and deliver speech therapy programs aimed at preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and social communication disorders.

Essential Responsibilities

• Adhere to organizational mission, vision, and values while maintaining compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Foster effective communication and professional relationships with patients, families, healthcare team members, contractors, physicians, peers, external agencies, and the public.
• Perform duties within the scope of practice as defined by the relevant licensing board.
• Demonstrate proficiency in providing patient care according to department competencies, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop, implement, review, and maintain comprehensive care plans.
• Provide care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and therapy processes.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
• Provide clinical oversight to Speech Language Pathology Assistants.

General Responsibilities

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory or management duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the appropriate state licensing board.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance meeting state requirements if the position involves driving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar clinical environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of speech therapy principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements

Light work involving occasional exertion of up to 25 lbs and frequent exertion of up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may be required 11-25% of the workday.
