Lead and oversee the delivery of mental health case management services within a community setting in the Midwest region. This role involves providing support, supervision, and ongoing training to a dedicated team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct initial orientation and continuous training for new and existing staff members.
• Manage caseload assignments and maintain up-to-date client status reports.
• Review staff documentation for accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Monitor compliance with billable hours and provide guidance to staff as needed.
• Process payroll for the team and oversee budget management, including expenses and revenue.
• Participate actively in the management team and contribute to the development and implementation of related programs.
• Maintain a reduced caseload and direct productivity level as assigned by leadership.
• Regularly meet with the team to review productivity and conduct audits of service frequency and balance.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Foster effective communication and professional relationships with clients, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, external agencies, and the public.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in community-based mental health services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to five years of direct experience providing community-based services.
• Demonstrated supervisory and organizational skills.
• Licenses such as LMSW, LMFT, LMLP, LPC, or their clinical equivalents are preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements if driving is necessary.
• Completion of CPST Case Management training, KHS training, and passing background checks including KBI, adult abuse registry, and motor vehicle screenings.
• Completion of Children Case Management training within 60 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

Light work involving occasional exertion of up to 25 lbs and frequent exertion of up to 10 lbs. Approximately 11-25% of the workday may involve standing or walking. Accommodations may be provided as needed.
