Join a dedicated healthcare facility in the Central Plains region as an Authorized Licensed Journeyman Plumber. This role involves installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures and piping systems essential for medical operations, including steam, water, gas, air, vacuum, oxygen, and other medical gases, as well as backflow preventers, all in compliance with industry standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform continual inspection and testing of plumbing systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues independently, providing detailed inspection reports, repair estimates, and project timelines to management.
• Conduct routine maintenance and respond promptly to urgent plumbing needs, including on-call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere strictly to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain professional communication and relationships with patients, team members, contractors, physicians, and external agencies.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of a recognized journeyman program is required.
• Construction background and experience with medical gases are preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Journeyman Plumber is mandatory.
• Backflow Preventer certification is required.
• Medical gas certification is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, ordinances, and commercial plumbing and fire codes.
• Familiarity with piping, fixtures, and equipment related to plumbing trade.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and communicate effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs and frequent exertion up to 20 lbs.
• Standing or walking for 51-75% of the workday.
