We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat disorders affecting human movement. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive care plans for patients ranging from newborns to the elderly, ensuring optimal outcomes through expert physical therapy interventions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Adhere to established mission, vision, and values while maintaining compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with patients, families, healthcare team members, contractors, physicians, and external agencies.
• Perform duties within the scope of practice as defined by the relevant licensing board.
• Demonstrate proficiency in unit and department competencies, policies, and procedures to provide high-quality patient care.
• Accurately assess patient needs and develop, implement, review, and maintain individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on physical therapy aspects of their care.
• Complete timely and precise documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
• Provide clinical oversight to Physical Therapy Assistants.

General Responsibilities

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Education and Experience

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a similar clinical environment.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure through the appropriate state board.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance as required if the position involves driving.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements

Medium work involving occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs and frequent exertion of up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may comprise 26-50% of the workday. Accommodations may be provided as needed.
