Join a dedicated team performing a variety of tasks related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and control systems. This role involves installation, operation, inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment. You will maintain HVAC control systems in compliance with state and local regulations, collaborate with external vendors and contractors, and report any issues to management promptly.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Assist in responding to fire alarms and other safety codes.
• Manage supply and equipment purchases with budget considerations.
• Maintain professional communication with team members, contractors, and external agencies.
• Adhere to privacy and security regulations regarding protected health information.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in HVAC systems.
• Completion of an approved apprenticeship program is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• EPA certification required within six months of hire.
• Journeyman licensure preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements if driving is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and control systems.
• Proficient with tools and equipment used in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with fire safety codes.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements: This position involves heavy work, occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs and frequently lifting up to 20 lbs. Expect to spend 51-75% of the day standing or walking.
