Lead and manage mental and behavioral health services focused on emotional, addiction, and other behavioral disorders within a dynamic regional healthcare setting in the Midwest. This role provides clinical oversight, ensuring quality, person-centered care through effective interventions and operational support.

Essential Responsibilities

• Offer clinical guidance and oversight to staff members.
• Conduct periodic professional development trainings.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, documentation, billing, and data reporting.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and timely communication.
• Implement safety planning collaboratively with consumers, families, and treatment teams.
• Perform staff rounding and participate in program planning, budgeting, and operations.
• Collaborate with community partners to coordinate care effectively.
• Participate in hiring and training new staff.
• Provide Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) services including crisis assessments, hospital screenings, and treatment planning.
• Adhere to privacy and security regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain professional communication with patients, team members, and external agencies.

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

Experience

Three to five years working with diverse and high-risk populations is preferred, including experience with evidence-based treatments such as EMDR, DBT, SFBT, Motivational Interviewing, and CBT. Leadership or management training is also preferred.

Requirements

• Licensed at Master’s Level Clinician (BSRB or equivalent).
• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification and all necessary specialized care trainings.
• Valid Driver's License if driving is required.
• Preferred clinical licensure and substance use disorder licensure.
• Ability to supervise clinicians pursuing licensure with at least two years post-licensure experience.

Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of theoretical treatments and crisis intervention techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make accurate clinical assessments.

Physical Requirements

Light work involving occasional exertion up to 25 lbs and standing or walking 11-25% of the day, with or without accommodation.
