Lead and oversee the delivery of mental health case management services to individuals within the community. Provide support, supervision, and ongoing training to your assigned team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct initial orientation for new staff and provide continuous training opportunities.
• Manage caseload assignments and keep client status updated regularly.
• Review staff documentation for accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Monitor compliance with billable hours and provide guidance to staff as needed.
• Process payroll for the team and oversee the group budget, including expenses and revenue.
• Participate actively as a member of the management team within the assigned department.
• Contribute to the annual development and implementation of related programs.
• Maintain a reduced caseload and direct productivity level as determined by leadership.
• Hold regular team meetings, review monthly productivity, and conduct periodic audits of service frequency and balance.
• Adhere to established mission, vision, and values, and comply with HIPAA privacy and security regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Foster effective communication and professional relationships with clients, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

People Management

This role includes managing team members, encompassing employment decisions, suggestions, and formal performance evaluations.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements (if driving is required).
• Completion of CPST Case Management training, KHS training, and passing background checks including KBI, adult abuse registry, and motor vehicle screenings.
• Completion of Children Case Management training within 60 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience providing community-based services directly.
• Demonstrated supervisory and organizational skills.
• Licenses such as LMSW, LMFT, LMLP, LPC, or their clinical equivalents.

• Effective leadership with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and use strategic thinking to foster credibility and provide constructive feedback.

Physical Requirements

Light work involving occasional exertion of up to 25 lbs and frequent exertion of up to 10 lbs. Approximately 11-25% of the day may involve standing or walking. Accommodations may be provided as needed.
