Key Responsibilities

• Gather and verify all necessary demographic and insurance information to admit or pre-admit patients, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining a high accuracy rate.
• Notify financial counselors about patients with private pay or uncertain insurance coverage.
• Distribute admission paperwork promptly to relevant departments and staff.
• Assist with patient transport as needed.
• Collect co-pays, coinsurance, and deductibles according to insurance contracts and eligibility programs, and handle patient payments and daily deposits.
• Adhere strictly to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).

Education and Experience
