Deliver professional nursing care focused on wound management under physician guidance. This role involves mentoring new staff and students, performing nursing duties within licensure scope, and maintaining comprehensive patient care plans. Engage patients and families in care discussions, promoting independence and understanding of medical conditions, treatments, and self-care.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in a similar clinical environment is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure in a compact state required. BLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or by orientation end. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS, or AWHONN may be required depending on department policy.

Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, basic computer proficiency, and application of nursing principles are essential.

Physical Requirements: This position may require occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs and frequent standing or walking for 51-75% of the workday.
