Essential Responsibilities: Safely collect, process, and deliver specimens to the laboratory, ensuring proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials. Maintain phlebotomy trays and outpatient draw stations by restocking supplies and keeping areas clean. This role serves patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics. Uphold privacy and security standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Foster effective communication and professional relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.

General Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience: One year of related experience or training preferred.

Licenses and Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider required within 30 days of hire. Completion of a color blindness test within 30 days of hire is mandatory. Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) certification from ASCP is preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Basic computer and math skills, along with strong communication abilities, are essential.

Physical Requirements: This position involves light work, occasionally exerting up to 25 pounds and frequently up to 10 pounds, with 11-25% of the day spent standing or walking.
