Description

• Assess patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting and develop tailored treatment protocols
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate closely with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and prescribed home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility requirements
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a corresponding degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state
• CPR certification is preferred
