Join a dedicated healthcare facility in the Central Plains region as an Authorized Journeyman Plumber. This role involves installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures and piping systems essential for medical operations, including steam, water, gas, air, vacuum, oxygen, and other medical gases. You will ensure compliance with plumbing and fire codes, conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues independently, and provide detailed reports and repair estimates.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain plumbing systems and backflow preventers according to industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and respond promptly to urgent plumbing needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain on-call status to address emergencies or operational requirements outside regular hours.
• Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and external agencies while adhering to privacy and security regulations.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of a recognized journeyman plumbing program is required.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Journeyman Plumber in the relevant state.
• Backflow Preventer certification required.
• Medical gas certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in construction.
• Experience or education related to medical gases.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, ordinances, and commercial plumbing and fire codes.
• Proficient in piping, fixtures, and equipment related to plumbing trade.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and communicate effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs and frequent exertion up to 20 lbs.
• Standing or walking for 51-75% of the workday.
