Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis stabilization and support services to individuals in mental health emergencies.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation following organizational policies.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations effectively.
• Engage with clients positively, fostering a supportive environment.
• Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Communicate professionally with clients, healthcare teams, and external agencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Preferred: Two or more years of professional experience in mental health services, crisis response, or related fields.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by orientation end.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements if driving is necessary.
• Successful completion of background checks including KBI, DCF, child and adult abuse registries, and motor vehicle screenings.

Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with community mental health services.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Light work involving occasional lifting up to 25 lbs and frequent lifting up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may be required 11-25% of the workday, with or without accommodation.
