Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Experience: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and three years older than the youth served. Preferred candidates have two years of experience working with adults or children in health-related fields.

Requirements: Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation is mandatory. If driving is required, a valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional standards are necessary. Successful completion of background checks including KBI, DCF, child and adult abuse registries, and motor vehicle screenings is required.

Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency are essential. The position involves light physical activity, occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or walking 11-25% of the day.
