Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMT

We are currently hiring a skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our medical imaging team in Chaplin, Kentucky. In this full-time position, you will perform nuclear medicine procedures, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and provide physicians with essential imaging to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to regulatory and safety standards
• Operate nuclear imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET/CT systems
• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures (cardiac, bone, renal, thyroid, etc.)
• Monitor patient condition and maintain accurate records
• Follow strict radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures
• Assist with patient education and provide reassurance throughout the procedure
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Certified or eligible for certification through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
• Active BLS certification required
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols, radiopharmaceutical handling, and radiation safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
