Job Description

• Craft Individualized Care Plans: Conduct thorough evaluations to understand each patient's unique challenges and design targeted therapy strategies aimed at restoring their functional independence
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply clinically proven techniques to improve motor function, cognitive performance, and the ability to carry out meaningful daily activities
• Champion Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to ensure every patient receives seamless, well-rounded care
• Empower Patients and Families: Provide education and hands-on guidance to patients and their caregivers so that progress continues well beyond the therapy room
• Track Outcomes and Refine Approaches: Maintain thorough clinical documentation and continuously reassess treatment plans to keep each patient moving forward

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Pursuit of continuing education and specialty certifications is strongly encouraged and actively supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure in the state of Kentucky
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
