Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, conducting physical examinations and detailed analyses of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Offer intraoperative assistance, including setting up the operating environment, ensuring patient safety, and managing surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, from administering medications and managing wound care to discharge planning and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations concentrated on surgical practice is strongly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
