Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and their families regarding treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safe discharge transitions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and clinical progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary care rounds and collaborative team conferences to ensure seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Louisiana
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, neurology, or orthopedics are a welcome bonus, though not required
