Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in either inpatient or outpatient contexts and create tailored treatment plans suited to individual needs
• Implement physical therapy techniques that focus on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and at-home exercise regimens
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary discussions and care team rounds to guarantee cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
