Join a compassionate healthcare team in the Southern Gulf Coast region as a Patient Care Technician. This role involves providing attentive supervision and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. You will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, perform vital sign monitoring, and support nursing staff by following established care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise patients continuously and maintain their privacy.
• Assist with linen changes, specimen collection, and patient mobility including turning, positioning, and ambulation.
• Perform EKGs and phlebotomy with proper technique.
• Support patient safety by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and maintain cleanliness and order in patient areas.
• Provide emotional support and reinforce patient and family education regarding care plans.
• Respond promptly and courteously to patient call lights and telephone inquiries.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Patient Care Technician training program preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Competency in vital signs monitoring and basic patient care is essential.

Requirements: Ability to perform phlebotomy and EKGs, strong communication skills, adherence to confidentiality standards, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
