We are seeking a dedicated Associate Materials Specialist to join our team in a regional healthcare facility located in the Southern Gulf Coast area. This role involves managing supply requisitions, including Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) and Point of Issue (POI) replenishment, to ensure smooth operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, fill, and process all supply requests from various departments.
• Perform courier duties as assigned to support timely delivery of materials.
• Handle incoming shipments by verifying accuracy, noting any damages or shortages, and properly shelving items.
• Prepare procurement requests for necessary materials and supplies.
• Compare shipping notices with received or issued materials to confirm order accuracy.
• Collaborate directly with department staff to adjust PAR Level Replenishment System needs.
• Notify management when supplies or special orders are required.
• Maintain transportation equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Restock inventory using proper rotation, organization, and documentation practices.
• Keep all material storage areas neat, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in materials management is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in supply chain, materials management, or a related field preferred.

Requirements: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with various departments, and capability to operate material handling equipment safely.
