Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in wound care, providing compassionate and expert nursing services in a supportive clinical environment within the Southern Gulf Coast region. This role involves implementing nursing policies and procedures while tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial nursing assessments and communicate findings effectively with the supervising physician.
• Evaluate wound stages, obtain precise measurements, and document care plans thoroughly.
• Apply topical wound care treatments and manage associated wound care products.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to adjust treatments and improve patient outcomes.
• Recommend additional diagnostic services such as labs, radiologic and vascular tests, referrals, home health care, and specialized devices like Vacuum Assisted Closure and orthotics.
• Suggest prescriptions and Durable Medical Equipment within the scope of practice and collaborative agreements to promote wound healing and prevention.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, infection prevention, pressure ulcer management, and wellness strategies.
• Coordinate with physicians to accelerate wound healing and prevent skin breakdown.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and patient progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide timely updates to primary care providers, case managers, and physicians.

Education: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification required.

Experience: Prior experience in wound care nursing or related clinical settings preferred.
