Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-caliber diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions with urgency
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent recognized body
• Preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
