We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative care to join our team in a regional healthcare facility serving the Southern United States. This part-time, on-site role involves comprehensive clinical assessments, development and implementation of individualized nursing care plans, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using sound clinical judgment to identify and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing care plans, modifying them as necessary to meet evolving clinical outcomes.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practice changes through research and experiential learning.
• Create a compassionate, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff, managing both emotional and physical pain to promote comfort and healing.
• Respect and incorporate patients' and families' diverse cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds into individualized care plans.
• Advocate for patient rights, confidentiality, and autonomy while addressing ethical and clinical concerns.
• Facilitate learning for patients, families, and healthcare team members to support informed decision-making and health promotion.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and community resources to deliver integrated care, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Utilize systems thinking to optimize resource use, safety, and efficiency in patient care delivery.

Education and Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Demonstrated competence in perioperative nursing practice.
• Experience in clinical assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred.
