We are seeking a dedicated Associate Materials Specialist to join our team in a regional healthcare facility located in the Southern United States. This full-time, on-site role involves managing supply requisitions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials, and maintaining organized storage areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and fulfill supply requests from various departments, including managing Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) and Point of Issue (POI) replenishment systems.
• Perform courier duties as assigned to support operational needs.
• Receive, deliver, and shelve incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and noting any damages or shortages.
• Prepare procurement requests for materials as needed.
• Compare shipping notices with received or issued materials to ensure order accuracy.
• Collaborate directly with department staff to adjust PAR levels according to their needs.
• Notify management when supplies or special orders are requested.
• Maintain all equipment used for transporting supplies to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Restock inventory using proper rotation, organization, identification, and documentation practices.
• Keep all material storage areas neat, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in materials management or supply chain within a healthcare or similar environment is preferred.
