Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using both standardized tools and behavioral observation methods.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication, swallowing, fluency, voice, and cognitive-linguistic function.
• Deliver direct, one-on-one therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique goals, learning style, and cultural background.
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists — to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Provide meaningful education and home program guidance to patients and their families, empowering progress beyond the therapy room.
• Support inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, maintaining continuity across care settings.
• Uphold thorough, timely clinical documentation that meets all organizational, state, and federal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of clinical curiosity and peer learning.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
