Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient and outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Work in close partnership with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their support systems through therapeutic goals, home exercise programming, and safe discharge transitions
• Maintain precise and compliant clinical documentation using digital charting platforms in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure a cohesive, patient-centered approach

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as neurology, geriatrics, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred though motivated newer graduates are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated ability to manage patients presenting with complex medical and mobility challenges
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
